Video Commander 3.5 Service Release 2

This is an update file, to bring Video Commander 3.5 or Service Release 1 up to date with the final Service Release 2. This contains a few fixes from the previous release, and adds some preroll capabilities for scheduled device control.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the update file: vc35sr2a.exe (9/4/2002; 1.4MB)
2. Shut down all Video Commander software. (You should choose a time to do this when no routes or scheduled events are coming up soon.)
3. Back up your system. This should be a full backup (programs and data); you may use the Video Commander Backup utility, or any other reliable backup system which covers all the files in, and below, the Video Commander installation directory.
4. Run the Service Release program, either from your downloaded copy or directly from within this web browser. If you have run Video Commander from more than one location on your computer, you may be asked to choose the current install location; otherwise, the update is completely automatic. If there are errors during the update process, please call IRIS Technologies Technical Support!
5. Re-start your Video Commander software.

...And that's it! Your software will be updated to the latest version, and the Video Commander screen will display "3.5 SR2" in the upper right corner (above the clock).
