![]() Dear Michael: I wanted to take the time to thank you and your organization for everything you have done to help me with my project. Starting a television station from the ground up with limited personnel and financial budget has been a challenge, but it would have been twice the challenge without your product, the VideoTizer. I saw your product at a Society of Broadcast engineers show in Syracuse, New York about two years ago. It wasn't until I accepted the position of Executive Director of the Harrisburg Broadcast Company that I saw the need and the exact place in my television career for the use of this product. I maintain and operate WHBG TV 20 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania that is a 24-hour a day government channel serving most of central Pennsylvania. I use VideoTizer to playback for automation all of the programming that airs here on a 24-hour a day, seven day a week basis. Your product makes that possible. Back in May of 2003 I received my unit exactly two days before going live with the new station. This was a tense time for me because I was not sure of what to expect as far as a learning curve, and especially with only two days to learn the product. I opened the box when it arrived, pulled everything out and hooked it up in a matter of about five minutes. I then proceeded to watch the included instructional video for about 30 seconds before I decided to look at the remote control. After looking over the remote, I stopped the video, placed a tape in my deck to capture from, hit play on the deck and record on the VideoTizer, and in less than ten minutes, probably closer to eight minutes, I had hooked up your unit and had already begun recording my first show. When the show was done, I simply pressed stop and that was it. What I thought was going to be a very big learning curve was really no learning curve at all. The most impressive thing, besides the awesome video quality, is the extremely easy and user-friendly way that your company has designed this product. After recording my first days programming to your unit, I played with the scheduler for another two minutes and had it completely figured out. I then installed the additional computer based scheduler and after about ten minutes had my first day's programming scheduled and ready to go. I have been using the VideoTizer since June 1st and have been absolutely blown away by its features, its ease of use and its problem free performance. I am able to capture my programs at the same time as I am broadcasting, and nothing misses a beat. I have seen nothing like this in the television industry, and I am confident that this would change the lives of television engineers if every station out there used it for all there satellite programming. Furthermore, this product revolutionizes the opportunities for leased access, public Access and others as to automating the programming delivery process. In closing, I thank you with all my heart for developing the best video product I have seen and used and want to grant to you my 100 percent support and satisfaction of this product. This is changing the way television is distributed and at the same time proving that video and television equipment doesn't have to be expensive to be awesome. Sincerely, Chad Edwards |
